Scarlett Salamone

“Scarlett Salamone, “Mimi”, is a 17 year old senior in high school. Her mother works more than full-time and her father is in-and-out of the picture, so that leaves Mimi to raise her 10 year old brother, Johnston. When Mimi reconnects and falls in love with her childhood best friend, Marcus Emerson, and her whole life turns upside down. But once Mimi overcomes her biggest fear, everything will change… but will it be for better? Or for worse?”

Scarlett Salamone is the title of my latest novel. It will be relatively short, but… not too short. It’s the one I’m writing for NaNoWriMo. Exciting stuff, eh? 🙂

About cassidyrizzo

First and above all else, I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ. He is my Rock and my Salvation. He is the reason that I am the person I am today. All glory and honor and praise goes to Him, my Savior. Second, I am a writer. Most of my work is fiction. My stories revolve around overcoming hardships. Generally, I write for teens and young adults. Everything is child friendly, but it's not usually on a simple enough reading level for, say, a 9 year old. And, I am in love with all things musical. I don't play any instruments. I do play the radio and my CD's. I love me some Pandora. It's a beautiful technological masterpiece. Music is what is constantly going on in my life. Love music

  1. How is it that you can write a complete synopsis before you even write the story? I’ve never done something like that, because the story always turns out a different way than I anticipated. By the way, I’m dragonfirehurts, from NaNoWriMo YWP.

  2. The ones that are on here are already halfway done. For instance, Scarlett Salamone. It’s my NaNoWriMo novel. I already know exactly what I plan to do, but the synopsis gives me enough room to change the story line if I end up having to do so… whether it happens intentionally or unintentionally. And yes, I know who you are. I recognize your perfect writing 😉

  3. Wow, totally crazy bit the title of your book is my name in real life.
